  3. So these work with both knit and woven fabrics? Looking at your tester photos it seems like you had people do both... Just checking! :)

    1. Yes, they do work with knits, too, Jenni, although I recommend wovens in the pattern (since they're a bit easier to work with). Here's a link to the knit ones I made last year: http://www.eleganceandelephants.com/2012/07/pocket-capris-shorts-version.html

  8. I love the look of this pattern, but daughter is 11 and although skinny, I don't think she'd fit into an 8. How difficult do you think it is to size this pattern up? Thanks in advance for any info.

  11. Just made the classic shorts in a pink and white chevron. Absolutely the most adorable shorts I've ever seen. Not difficult ... took a few hours but so well worth it.

  13. Any chance you could make this into a bigger size? Like 10 or 12? Or could you help me extend it if I buy it?

  14. Just made these a couple different ways for the Flip this Pattern series. One is with ruffles instead of pockets and the other is with cargo pockets for a boy! The details are on my blog:

  15. What do you think is a fair price to sell a completed pair of shorts? I am honestly horrible at pricing my items to sell, especially when a friend asks me. LOL

  18. I just made up my first pairs of bubble shorts - what a cute pattern. But I did notice that the waistband measurements and the leg cuffs for both sizes I made (6m/12m and 7/8) were way too long and I had to shorten them all. I may have made a mistake but I double checked all measurements. I just wanted to let you know. Cheers, Amanda

  19. I made this pattern and the waistband and leg band measurements for 3/4 are wrong too. I had to cut about 3cm off the waistband pieces and 4cm off each leg band. Perhaps you could update your measurement charts and issue a correction to people who have bought the pattern - it would save time and stress.
