Have you seen Tamara Kate's brand new collection Birds & the Bees for Michael Miller Fabrics? I had the privilege and pleasure of getting my hands on these beautiful fabrics recently and am so excited to share what I made with you! Having had the opportunity to work with her Origami Oasis collection last year, I knew we were in for a treat, and there most definitely was no disappointment with this newest expression of Tamara Kate's artistry.
This gorgeous collection has Tamara Kate's signature vivid colours and delightful details that perfectly capture her inspiration of soaring and fluttering creatures.
With all those stunning choices, it was too hard to make my selection on my own. I had to enlist the help of my children, who carefully examined all the beautiful options.
Anja chose Love Bug...
and Tobias' choice was Honey Honey.
Using Compagnie-M's Lotta dress pattern (which I absolutely love...you'll be seeing more Lotta's from me!!) and Ottobre's Little Richard shirt (from the 3/14 issue, altered to a short sleeve), here is what I made with these brilliant fine quilting cotton fabrics.
My children absolutely love their new outfits and they've received countless compliments. Without a doubt, this collection is sure to be a huge success!
