The first E&E pattern is in the works (YAY!), and I'm looking for a some interested seamstresses who would like to test it out. All you have to do is be willing to complete the garment one week after receiving the (complimentary) pattern, send me a photo of it, and I'll e-mail you a short questionnaire about your sewing experience. Once I receive feedback from all the testers, and make any corrections, I'll send you a copy of the final pattern in sizes 18 months to 8 years for your further sewing pleasure! Once you receive the final copy of the pattern, you will be able to blog/post about it. With your permission, I will also feature select tester photos on my blog. Last but not least, all testers must be Elegance & Elephants followers, subscribers, or Facebook page 'likers'.
If this sounds like something you'd like to do, e-mail me the following:

I don't think I'm quite the garment-sewing pattern tester that you're looking for (am a quilter, ahem) but this top is so cute! I'll keep my eyes peeled for your pattern release. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteHi! I really want! I'm Sheyla from xeyas.blogspot.com, I think i'm 3-4 level,I can send you some photos if you want, just tell me. I have two childs, a girl size 18 months and a boy size 2-3. This pattern will be for my girl, of course... jijiji thanks!!
ReplyDeleteExciting! Although I confess I skipped a heartbeat at the idea that you might be doing a duffel coat like the one you featured in Project Run and Play. Because I really loved that look (the toque! the autumn leaves!) and when I saw it I wanted to make something exactly like it for my little boy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ann! I love sewing and pattern drafting outerwear, so definitely watch for a future pattern! :)
DeleteAwesome! Though I do love this sweet little shirt -- the ruffles are futuristic and fun.
Deletehi, i'm Trinh, and I would love to test for you. i think i am probably a level 5. you can see some of my work here sweetcheeksdesigns.blogspot.com. i can test size 3t and 5 or 6 girls. thanks!
ReplyDeleteAw, I would love to be a pattern tester for you, if only my life wasn't in flux right now... we are moving soon but don't have a date set for sure. Maybe next time.
ReplyDeleteI did want to tell you that I LOVE the way you classified the sewing levels. It's so much easier to figure out where I'm at with a system like this than just titles like 'advanced beginner'.
Good luck with the move, Charity! I'm definitely planning more patterns, so many next time. And thanks for the feedback on the sewing levels...I'm never quite sure how to classify myself, either, so I thought this would make it easier. Glad you appreciate it! :)
DeleteWhat a fantastic opportunity!! How exciting!!
ReplyDeleteYou have been e-mailed ;op. I am so in love with this top!!!
ReplyDeleteI have emailed with my details.. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the FB post I wanted to test for you but then I saw the top you are testing: TOO Cute. now I definitely want IN. ~Major Moma

ReplyDeleteHow funny, I only now notice your call for pattern testers - looks like we're just one day apart with our first-ever-calls ;-)
