Heidi,
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern and its release is perfect timing as my daughter is starting school in a few weeks. Her school has a strictish uniform policy where kids can only wear navy, red and white and are not allowed any patterns or design (A sewist nightmare!). Anyway, I was looking online to buy some solid color knits and I saw that the pattern requires 50% stretch. However most of the knits that look appropriate for a dress come mostly in 40% stretch. Do you think this is a problem? Should I size down or up? Any suggestions are more than welcomed!
Julie
Hi Julie, A 40% stretch should work...basically you need a high quality knit that holds its stretch well. Hope that helps!
