There's still a little summer left around here, so for this month's Warp & Weft Sewing Society project, I decided to make my daughter a little sleeveless top.
I love the unique design of the back and chose to highlight it by combining Annali Muti Flowers and Bungalow Empress Grass. These beautiful, high quality cottons suited this top perfectly.
A wonderful coincidence is that these and ALL the lovely fabrics at Warp & Weft are on sale until September 8. Use coupon code LABOUR14.
The pattern, a slightly modified Shandiin Top, is designed by the very talented Sarah Haag from LouBeeClothing and EmmyLouBeeDoo.
This post is sponsored by Warp & Weft and the fabric used was complimentary.
All opinions, as always, are my own.
Love it! I made a Shandiin top last week for my 2year ole but it is waaaaay too big, so it will be waiting in the closet until next Summer :-)
ReplyDeletesuch an adorable top! As the weather cools, perhaps it could be worn with a cardigan? (or would the shoulder ties be bothersome?). Either way, it's so cute and I love your fabric choice. And those polka dot sneakers are great too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always, Heidi! (loooove those shoes!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful top. And i love those shoes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous top! Love the detail on the back. I bet it will look lovely layered with a long sleeved tee over the cooler months.
